Job Description

Job Summary

Diamond Tree Recovery is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to provide mental health and addiction treatment services in a residential treatment setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in SUD/mental health treatment and possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based modalities and holistic approaches.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on addiction rehabilitation and mental health awareness.
  • Conduct clinical diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans in accordance with ASAM criteria.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing a client-centered approach to promote personal growth and awareness.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure program scheduling, structure, and services are running smoothly and meeting patient needs.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing crisis intervention and consultation services as needed.
  • Develop and implement safe discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in SUD/mental health treatment, with a focus on residential treatment settings.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic computer user skills, with proficiency in electronic health records and other relevant software.
