Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated attorney to join our team as a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced attorney to gain valuable experience in criminal and immigration law and further their career with a reputable law firm in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to clients on their legal rights and represent them in post-conviction relief cases.
  • Manage a caseload of post-conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, and motions to reduce.
  • Collaborate with our team of attorneys and legal assistants to provide exceptional client service.
  • Attend motion hearings and advise clients on the best strategies for their cases.
  • Handle open criminal cases, including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas, and sentencing.
  • Manage court appearances, draft motions, and perform legal research.
  • Analyze probable outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents.
  • Manage workload of cases and provide legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits.

Requirements:

  • Criminal defense experience or immigration law experience.
  • Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred, but not required.

Benefits:
