The Litigation Support Specialist will play a vital role in assisting attorneys throughout the entire case management process, from initial documentation to trial readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in litigation and demonstrate expertise in both state and federal electronic filing protocols.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in the preparation, submission, and distribution of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately stored and easily retrievable.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support case strategies.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other involved parties.
  • Manage attorney calendars, tracking deadlines to ensure timely task completion.
  • Draft and review correspondence, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
  • Prepare materials for trials and hearings, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Perform electronic filing of legal documents in compliance with court regulations.
  • Provide general administrative assistance, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned to support the litigation team.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Support Specialist.
  • Expertise in state and federal electronic filing procedures is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court processes, and document management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
