Key Responsibilities

Accountable for fulfilling customer expectations while executing high-quality installations.

How You Will Achieve This

  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventive maintenance of life safety product lines as well as comparable products from other manufacturers.
  • Learn to complete Installation Acknowledgements with accurate coding through communication devices, such as laptops and/or hard copies.
  • Adhere to and maintain a well-structured installation timetable.
  • Complete assigned installations punctually.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Must possess or obtain a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL).
  • Able to acquire and maintain any licenses mandated by National, State, and Local regulations.
  • 5 – 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals.
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter operation.
  • Exhibits an aptitude for diagnosing systems and executing necessary repairs.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unconventional and sometimes challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet customer needs. This role requires travel within the designated area.
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and consistently follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive demeanor, and a quick learning ability.
  • Valid driver's license; must successfully pass a driving background check.

Preferred

  • Certifications: Ccure, Lenel, Kantech, Amag, Hirsch, Genetec, ExacqVision, Bosch VMS.
  • Experience in installation.
  • Lift certification.
  • NICET certification.
