Job Title: Athletic Trainer

Job Summary:
Go4Healthcare is seeking a certified athletic trainer to provide sports medicine services for a secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall sports medicine program, including injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment of student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student-athletes;
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of injured athletes and provide treatment and rehabilitation services;
  • Collaborate with the team physician to review pre-participation physical examinations and coordinate medical referrals;
  • Manage the athletic training room, including inventory and budgetary tasks;
  • Assist the athletic director with determining safety and medical concerns for athletic events;
  • Evaluate and recommend new techniques, equipment, and policies to enhance the sports medicine program;
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation.

Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program;
> Board of Certification required, NY state licensure;
> 2-5 years of experience as an athletic trainer preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 25 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed
