About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Maternal - Newborn Float Pool team at Penn State Health. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to mothers and newborns in our hospital's maternity department.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Nursing Interventions: Implement evidence-based nursing interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Evaluation: Continuously evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
  • Experience: Three years of RN experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
  • Education: BSN degree and certification in maternal-newborn nursing preferred.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package, including annual bonuses and career advancement opportunities.
