UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies - Project Lead
This position is essential for managing Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) initiatives, particularly in relation to U.S. Government and Department of Defense (DoD) systems.
1. Direct and oversee Configuration and Data Management projects tailored for government and DoD systems.
2. Ensure comprehensive management of project performance, adhering to technical specifications, budget limitations, and timelines.
3. Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams.
4. Formulate and execute work standards and project timelines.
5. Mentor and supervise project staff.
6. Facilitate effective communication of organizational policies, objectives, and goals to all team members.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders, including government entities and other contractors.
8. Remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in Configuration and Data Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- A minimum of 10 years of combined general and specialized experience in Configuration and Data Management.
- Within the 10 years, at least 8 years of specialized experience in specific areas of CM/DM related to system engineering processes for:
- U.S. Government and DoD systems.
- Combat systems.
- System of systems.
- Emerging capabilities.
- Information technology systems.
- 5 years of experience in leading and supervising personnel for a CM program.
- Proven track record in all facets of project performance, including technical, cost, and schedule management.
- Demonstrated capability to provide technical direction for all project activities and personnel.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently possess an active Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance.
Physical Demands:
Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
