EMCOR Government Services is seeking a skilled Furniture Handler to join our team in Washington, DC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving and distributing materials, moving furniture, and supporting the setup of new employee workstations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with receiving deliveries and distributing materials and office supplies
  • Move furniture and other materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Support the setup of new employee workstations and internal moves
  • Perform daily setup of conference rooms
  • Perform quality control checks on service requests
  • Assist with IT deliveries and barcoding new IT property

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience safely utilizing handheld pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and furniture moving equipment
  • Operators of pallet jacks must be certified
