Job Title: CCC-Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CCC-Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at HealthMark Rehabilitation. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents and short-term patients at our Arbrook Plaza facility in Arlington, Texas.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Speech-Language and/or Swallowing therapy plans of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
  • Assist with patient screenings for the need for Speech-Language and/or Swallowing Therapy services.
  • Communicate progress and any barriers toward ST goals with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Complete timely ST documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and payor requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining treatment and documentation areas in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
  • Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each ST patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow up.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an ASHA accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Hold an active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
  • Current Texas license in good standing as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Meet physical requirements to deliver ST responsibilities.
  • Experience in a geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Successful completion of hiring process / background check.
