As a Senior Security Operations Specialist, your efforts will be crucial in safeguarding essential infrastructure, promoting environmental sustainability, and enhancing air quality for all.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC), which operates around the clock, monitoring security systems across the organization.
- Respond to numerous alarms and manage a high volume of communications daily.
- Lead a team of specialists in assessing security events at critical sites and ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct training sessions and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the SOC, guiding daily operations and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Analyze security-related data from various sources to inform necessary actions and notifications.
- Collaborate in the development of security strategies and provide analytical reports utilizing security systems and external data.
- Engage with key business units to ensure security measures align with operational needs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or a related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Intelligence).
- Proven experience in a command and control/security operations center environment.
- Background in training or leading training initiatives.
- Familiarity with security software, including CCTV and access control systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Relevant certifications such as ASIS CPP or PSP, and PMP.
Additional Information
This position requires on-site work. The successful candidate will be expected to report to a designated facility. Further details regarding work arrangements will be discussed during the interview process.
Note: This role may involve occasional travel and a rotating schedule, including day, swing, and night shifts.
