We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Hospice Nurse, RN to provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous inpatient nursing care at our Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comfort and support to patients and their families to facilitate quality of life and death with dignity.
  • Conduct patient admissions and complete electronic documentation every shift.
  • Teach and counsel patients and families on nursing care needs, related problems, and preparation for death.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and maintain regular communication with supervisors.
  • Stay up-to-date on patient care and improve nursing skills.
Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • One year of recent experience in an acute care facility.
  • CPR certification.
