Methodist Children's Hospital is expanding its congenital heart surgery program and seeking a skilled congenital heart surgeon to join our team in San Antonio, Texas.
The ideal candidate will be a critical member of our congenital heart surgery service, working closely with our Chief of Congenital Cardiac Surgery to provide exceptional patient care.
We are looking for a surgeon with unique skills, interests, or qualifications that will complement our team and contribute to our program's growth and success.
Our program is part of an international consortium of congenital cardiac centers within HCA Healthcare, with sites in Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, and London, UK.
Requirements- ABTS certification in cardiothoracic surgery and congenital heart surgery or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience with ability to operate independently
- Requisite experience in all aspects of congenital cardiac surgery with interest in adult congenital and transplantation preferred
- Interest in clinical outcomes research
- Demonstrated exceptional surgical and interpersonal skills and proven success working in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment

Methodist Children's Hospital is a 202-bed facility with seven operating suites, 94 NICU beds, and a 22-bed pediatric intensive care unit with dedicated pediatric cardiovascular care unit.
Our congenital heart program enjoys an extensive catchment area and rapidly growing referral base in South and West Texas, with 40% of volume neonates.
