Position Title: Financial Analyst - Inventory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize data from daily inventory cycle counts into a comprehensive tracking file, ensuring accuracy across numerous shelf locations.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to investigate discrepancies and variances.
  • Conduct monthly audits to verify adherence to internal controls.
  • Maintain and update the Cycle Count summary file, keeping management informed of progress and potential challenges.
  • Partner with Distribution Center and Supply Chain teams to enhance reporting and validation processes for third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses.
  • Assist in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards for inventory shrinkage.
  • Work closely with Field Service and Commercial teams to ensure compliance with established processes.
  • Engage with the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) team to identify outliers and address potential issues at the store level.
  • Coordinate with Retail Operations to ensure timely removal of items from virtual warehouses for returns.
  • Facilitate the creation and management of dummy item SKUs within the virtual warehouse.
  • Develop a tracking dashboard to monitor actual store visit coverage and frequency.
  • Identify and report high shrinkage locations to the commercial team by account.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a willingness to learn additional systems.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to think critically and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, capable of engaging effectively with all organizational levels and external vendors.
  • Desire to learn and develop professional skills.
  • Ability to thrive in diverse working environments.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
