Our client stands as the largest distributor in the U.S. for plumbing supplies, PVF, waterworks, and fire and fabrication products, in addition to being a key distributor of HVAC equipment and industrial services.

  • **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM, with ample overtime opportunities.
  • **Compensation:** $18 per hour.
  • **Location:** Tampa, FL.

**A high school diploma or GED is mandatory and must be included in all resumes.**

**Assessment Requirement: Forklift Assessment.**

**Please note that this is a non-climate-controlled environment, which can become quite warm.**

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication.
- Implement proper procedures for the setup and maintenance of machinery in the fabrication shop.
- Accurately measure, document, and add random pipe lengths.
- Follow appropriate procedures for measuring and cutting pipe using band saws and/or torches.
- Execute proper threading and beveling of pipe with Landis machines.
- Transport loose and/or bundled pipe within the yard.
- Assemble pipe orders, whether in single pieces or bundles, while maintaining an organized workspace.
- Observe necessary safety protocols for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping of pipe for storage and transport.
- Inspect and maintain all forklift equipment to ensure functionality.
- Operate powered industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures.

Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent mathematical skills, with the capability to calculate product quantities accurately.
- Familiarity with safe work practices in a pipe yard setting.
- Experience operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies; training will be provided on-site.
- Ability to maintain a results-oriented focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 6 months of recent work experience.
- 1 to 2 years of industrial work experience.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry.

Compensation Details: $18.00 per hour.
