Spurwink Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Chelsea Day Treatment Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia in youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment.
- Provide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
- Supervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
