Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Regency Retirement Village of Jackson. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their health, welfare, and safety are our top priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Encourage residents to participate in planned activities and events.
  • Set up the dining room, serve meals, and assist residents during mealtime as needed.
  • Provide laundry services and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Practice safety procedures and report incidents, accidents, and injuries to associates or residents.
  • Complete all training and orientation requirements and attend in-service training as outlined by state regulations and policies.
  • Report changes in resident status immediately to the charge nurse.
  • Maintain local and state certification, if applicable.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, pushing, and walking.
  • Lifting at least 50 pounds.
  • Operating standard housekeeping equipment.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals and infectious substances.
  • Inclement weather conditions during winter months.
