Join Our Team:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Forensic Nursing Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Forensic Nursing Team, you will provide expert care to victims of sexual assault, conduct thorough medical forensic exams, and collect evidence. Your ability to work effectively with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders will be essential to ensuring a successful investigation process.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical forensic exams on sexual assault patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collect and document evidence for use in criminal investigations and prosecutions.
  • Provide trauma-informed care and emotional support to victims of sexual assault.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and examination results.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
Qualifications:
  • RN licensure in the State of Texas with at least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or a related field.
  • Certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) through the Texas Office of the Attorney General or equivalent.
  • Documented clinical competency and professional accountability.
Compensation:

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
