Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and make a strong first impression, using a friendly and professional tone to create a positive atmosphere.
  • Seating and Reservations: Utilize our reservation system to seat guests efficiently, ensuring that servers are not overloaded and that guests have a pleasant dining experience.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner, using clear and concise language to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Team Support: Provide training and guidance to the host team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Menu Management: Maintain knowledge of all menu items, specials, and ingredients, and provide updates to the team as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure that the host desk and surrounding areas are clean and well-organized, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous hospitality industry experience is preferred, with a strong background in guest service and team leadership.
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Certifications: California Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification is preferred.
Working Conditions

The Lead Host will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise levels. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
