Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging R&D Engineer Intern to join our team at Post Consumer Brands. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will assist in the development and management of products, focusing on packaging innovation and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for packaging savings, innovation, and quality improvements
  • Develop and execute plant or lab trials to test and analyze packaging solutions
  • Review and approve technical specifications, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Coordinate packaging timelines to meet company milestones and deadlines
  • Prepare and present technical reports to business teams, both written and oral
Requirements
  • Pursuing a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in Packaging Science or an equivalent Engineering discipline
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with a high level of competence in computer applications
  • Interest in the consumer packaged goods / manufacturing industry and a desire to start a career with Post Consumer Brands after graduation
