Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead the implementation of reliable, scalable, and efficient systems across our platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of site reliability practices and collaboration with both Application Development and Production Support teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement reliability measures prescribed by the SRE team.
  • Ensure key services have proper instrumentation, alerting, ticketing, and on-call processes.
  • Break down complex issues into manageable units of work for team members.
  • Evangelize efficient solution delivery practices, design improvements, and operational excellence.
  • Utilize deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud services to lead system design and troubleshooting.
  • Lead container platform support and security initiatives, including vulnerability remediation.
  • Collaborate in highly available, multi-datacenter environments ensuring the stability of critical services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Tekton, and GitOps methodologies.
  • Maintain and optimize monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms (AKS, EKS).
  • Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Golang, and shell scripting.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure components including Compute, Storage, Network, and Security.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native tools, container security, and vulnerability remediation techniques.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and SSO (Ping Identity or similar).
  • Strong Linux and Windows OS administration skills, including DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and GitOps models.
  • Experience with container runtimes, operator deployment patterns, and agile deployment methodologies.
  • Systematic problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership and ability to work independently or within a team.
