About the Position

We are seeking an accomplished Psychiatrist to lead our Integrated Outpatient Adult Services and general outpatient psychiatric services as Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our behavioral health services.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit, train, and supervise staff within the Behavioral Health Services department.
  2. Provide strategic direction to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary leadership team to enhance service integration.
  4. Demonstrate a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • MD degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
