- Collaborate with the activities team to plan and execute regularly scheduled activities, including life skills training and social events.
- Maintain a safe and organized inventory of activity supplies and materials.
- Ensure the timely posting of activity schedules and updates.
- Accompany residents on outings and provide transportation using our community shuttle bus.
- Assist residents with getting on and off the bus, utilizing safe and efficient transfer methods.
- Present a professional appearance and maintain a positive attitude that supports team performance and productivity.
- Compassionate and empathetic towards the senior population.
- One to three years of experience in a related field, preferably in senior living or a similar setting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in general computer skills and ability to learn new software.
This position requires standing for long periods, communicating effectively with others, and using hands to handle various objects and equipment. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment is moderate, with occasional travel to other locations.
