Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at Extreme Event Solutions as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions for Insurance/Reinsurance risk modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze feature requirements and design specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases, execute and validate the test results to ensure the product meets all feature requirements.
  • Review epic overviews to create detailed test strategy documents that align with business objectives.
  • Create, debug, and fix automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure seamless software functionality.
  • Develop and maintain a robust daily, smoke, acceptance, and regression test repository to ensure efficient testing processes.
  • Discover, debug, document, and verify software anomalies to ensure timely resolution and minimize business impact.
  • Evaluate test results and track feature status using internal tools and processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Escalate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Address queries from Product Owners, Scrum Team Members, and the Client Servicing team regarding our software products in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify capacity bottlenecks, suggest, and implement solutions for process improvement to optimize testing efficiency.
  • Responsible for software risk identification, escalation, and mitigation to ensure business continuity.
  • Provide QA metrics as required to support business decision-making.
  • Act as the scrum team point of contact from a quality assurance perspective to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Contribute to the training of new hires to ensure knowledge transfer and team growth.
  • Work collaboratively with a global team to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
