We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric LVN to join our team at Kinder Hearts Home Health & Hospice. As a Pediatric LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Follow the plan of care and provide treatments as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Prepare clinical and progress notes, as well as equipment and materials for treatments
  • Assist patients and families in learning self-care techniques
  • Inform the Pediatric RN Supervisor of changes in patient condition
  • Counsel patients and families on nursing and related needs
  • Participate in in-service programs and receive orders from physicians
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
  • Three years of nursing experience preferred, with pediatric home health experience a plus
  • Current licensure as a licensed vocational nurse in the State of Texas
  • Ability to demonstrate assessment and skills in caring for pediatric clients
  • Knowledge or experience with gastric button feeding and care, ventilators, tracheostomy, and care
  • Good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
  • CPR certification
