Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders to assess business needs and develop robust analytic and reporting solutions that drive efficiency and data accuracy. This role will provide analytic support for the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) program and is responsible for analyzing, compiling, and reporting RDS subsidy drug data generated from multiple internal/external data systems in order to ensure maximum subsidy benefits for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external partners to ensure effective and accurate communication
  • Analyze and compile data from multiple sources using Excel
  • Identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and anomalies
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess business needs and develop robust analytic and reporting solutions
Requirements
  • 2+ years of healthcare industry experience with at least 1 year working with Medicare or Quality reporting
  • Basic analytic skills, with a proven ability to solve logical challenges and synthesize data to develop meaningful insights
  • Ability to think critically and to multitask with timely follow through
  • Self-starter with ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects with little supervision
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and anomalies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with analytical tools such as VBA, SQL, R, Python, Power BI or related applications
  • Able to identify root causes of problems, and develop and implement solutions, incorporating business needs and consulting management as needed
  • Able to interpret instructions, ask analytical questions, validate report/query information, and detect flaws in requests or suggested methodologies
