We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Kettering Health Network. As a Long-term care (LTC) pharmacy technician, you will work collaboratively with licensed pharmacists to provide exceptional pharmacy services to LTC facilities.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for medication order processing, unit dosing product, medical record maintenance (MAR), treatment record updating (TAR), and anti-psychotic record upkeep. You will also assist in stocking emergency boxes, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining required forms.
Responsibilities:- Process medication orders and perform unit dosing
- Maintain accurate medical records and update treatment records
- Conduct physical counts of emergency boxes and expired drug reviews
- Assist in stocking emergency boxes and answering customer inquiries
- Maintain required forms and ensure compliance with state regulations
To be considered for this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent, and be certified as a Pharmacy Technician or enrolled in a Pharmacy tech training program with certification within 210 days from hire date. Previous LTC pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
