Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sacred Heart Hospital. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and families in our Pediatric Observation Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
