ISO New England is seeking a seasoned lawyer with expertise in employment law and a background in general corporate matters to provide expert legal advice and counsel to the HR team and executives on best practices and a broad range of employment topics.

• Advise HR on employee relations issues, including hiring and terminations
• Draft and review employment-related and other contracts
• Stay up-to-date on employment laws and best practices, and advise the company accordingly
• Create, review, and update corporate policies
• Liaise with outside counsel on employment-related litigation and disputes, when necessary

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the state bar
• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or eligible for admission to the bar
• Three to six years of prior experience in employment law as an attorney in a law firm or in a top-tier internal legal department
• Extensive familiarity with contracts and excellent writing skills

• Experience within the energy industry
• Expertise in other areas of the law such as immigration and/or cyber law
