We are seeking a highly skilled Renovation Technician to join our team at The Lund Company. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for leading the charge in maintenance excellence to repair and maintain our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Respond to work orders in a prompt and efficient manner, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the job.
- Patch damaged drywall, tape seams, and sand to a high standard.
- Repair, replace, and maintain apartment equipment and fixtures, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Install countertops and cabinets as required, demonstrating attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and electrical equipment, using your knowledge and skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Snow removal and property grounds cleanup, ensuring our properties are always well-maintained.
- Frequently walk, bend, lift, pull, and push up to 60 pounds, demonstrating physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years in real estate/construction, with a background in logistics, operations, and/or project management.
- Experience with all aspects of residential construction and renovation, including knowledge of construction costs and vendor management.
- Excellent organizational skills and vendor management experience, with a strong attention to detail.
- Possess good mechanical skills and a working knowledge of OSHA safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Provide and use own hand and power tools, as well as a smartphone.
