We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combination Code Inspector to join our team at Anne Arundel County. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of residential building construction to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
- Review plans and specifications for construction projects to identify potential issues and ensure compliance.
- Enforce regulations with firmness, tact, and impartiality, and issue violation notices and stop work orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with contractors, owners, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance.
- Investigate complaints and conduct specialized inspections in areas of expertise.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on code interpretations and applications.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Two or more years of experience in the field of construction, including one or more years of experience in inspection and code enforcement.
- International Code Council certification as a residential combination inspector.
- Valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license.
