Key Responsibilities of the Dietary Assistant include:
  • Supporting chefs with food preparation tasks as needed
  • Managing dishwashing duties and schedules to ensure smooth dining service operations
  • Upholding standards for dining services, ensuring timely meal delivery, excellent customer service, and cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas
  • Delivering meals to residents within designated timeframes
  • Reporting any issues or concerns related to food service promptly
  • Monitoring changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicating them effectively
  • Adhering to all safety and administrative regulations, including local and state guidelines
  • Availability for full-time shifts, including weekends
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • One to two years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service and care to senior residents
  • A strong sense of responsibility and dependability as a team member
  • An open-minded approach, willing to listen to and share innovative ideas
