Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and present quarterly financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing necessary guidance and support.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Construction Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in managing and developing an accounting team.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years in construction accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with Timberline or Sage300 is preferred.
  • Professional Credentials: CPA, CMA, or MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
