Job Summary:

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies and Federal and State regulations. The primary function of this role is to deliver all freight undamaged and provide a world-class customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect the truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
• Safely load building materials onto a flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
• Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer, prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a Class A License.
• Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Boom or Crane experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
• Ability to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading.
• Frequently move materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading a flatbed.
• Constantly move from unloading materials from a commercial motor vehicle onto a job site.
• Constantly operate a commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle.
• Constantly position self to unload materials from a flatbed or boom.
• Ability to judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating a boom.
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Constantly work in an outside environment while making deliveries.
