Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel nursing opportunity in Marshall, Michigan.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Supervise and direct the nursing patient care team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Document patient care, reactions, and responses to treatment in a timely and accurate manner, tracking patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department nursing, with a focus on critical care and emergency medicine.
  • Charge nurse experience and willingness to function in that role.
  • Cerner experience and proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, with TNCC preferred.
