Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are available and in good working order.
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless and efficient surgeries, communicating effectively to address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
- CST certification
- BLS certifications
- Two years of recent Surgical Tech experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
