We are currently looking for LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPISTS who are either local or willing to relocate. One of the positions available is a Lead role within the department.

*ROLE SUMMARY*As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in assisting patients in regaining mobility and enhancing their quality of life. Our team of Licensed Physical Therapists collaborates closely with physicians, patients, and their support systems to deliver exceptional care aimed at restoring health and functionality. Your responsibilities will include assessing mobility, strength, and overall physical condition. In accordance with APTA standards, you will set objectives to enhance balance, ambulation, and strength. You will also provide education on proper techniques for exercises and activities that support recovery.
Your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will be crucial in evaluating patient conditions and formulating effective treatment plans.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*

- Communicate effectively with physicians to ensure patients receive appropriate care.
- Develop physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to facilitate billing processes.
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions and create tailored treatment plans.
- Consult with patients to gather information about their physical condition and medical history.
- Identify movement dysfunction through patient observation and interaction.
- Provide hands-on therapy to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Facilitate restoration of function, pain relief, and disability prevention through prescribed physical therapy.
- Evaluate the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Instruct patients and their families on at-home exercises and care techniques.
- Teach therapeutic exercises and stretches to support patient recovery.
- Utilize hands-on techniques to alleviate pain and promote healing.
- Maintain patient records, tracking goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly.
- Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques is advantageous.
*SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE*To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Active license in California.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation.
- Empathy and compassion for patients experiencing pain.
- Proficient in a variety of physical therapy techniques, including muscle manipulation and patient education.
- Knowledge of best practices for equipment use and maintenance.
- Experience with diverse patient demographics and injury types.
- Attention to detail in assessing patient needs to prevent further injury.
- Physical stamina to assist patients and remain active throughout the day.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability as the clinic continues to evolve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating respect and empathy.

- Proficient in electronic health records, with experience in EPIC required.
- Active California state license to practice physical therapy.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work with patients across all age groups and functional levels.
- At least two years of experience in a fully equipped physical therapy facility.
- BLS/CPR certification with AED.
- Proficient reading, math, and writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS365, One Drive, and TEAMS.
- Ability to maintain a positive work environment through effective communication.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive approach.
- High integrity, commitment, and strong work ethic.
