Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Nurse Care Specialists to join our team at Stamford Health. As a key member of our Magnet designated Hospital Float Pool, you will work as an adjunct throughout the entire organization to ensure each nursing unit is adequately staffed to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role

Nurse Care Specialists in our Float Pool are trained to work on Medicine, Oncology and General Surgery units, as well as additional units throughout the hospital. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, with shifts varying depending on the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut
  • An ASN from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • BLS certification
  • At least one year of hospital nursing experience (float experience highly desirable)
