About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at TRC Companies. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and establishing financial workbooks and reports in Deltek and Power BI to track and monitor program financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Invoicing: Develop and maintain accurate financial budgets and invoices for our energy efficiency programs.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial and expense comparisons by analyzing profit and loss statements and prepare reports of findings and recommendations to program management.
  • Business Development Analysis: Provide analysis on business development opportunities and monitor business performance by region or group.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate labor/cost reports, track accounts receivable, and evaluate risks and opportunities to provide financial outlooks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Experience: Prior relevant experience with program finance, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work well with a team.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
