Job Summary:

The Production Home Assembler plays a crucial role in our factory assembly line environment, responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and assembling building components and homes. This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Various Tools and Equipment: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete carpentry duties, including circular saws, table saws, routers, pneumatic nail guns, drills, and other necessary tools.
  • Frame, Layout, and Build Floors: Construct and assemble floors, walls, and other building components according to specifications.
  • Install Electrical Lines and Fixtures: Run and install electrical lines, switches, receptacles, and panels/breaker boxes.
  • Prepare and Install Drywall: Complete roof construction, decking, flashing, and shingling, as well as install and prepare drywall for finish tape, mud, and texture.
  • Cabinet and Finish Carpentry: Build and install cabinets, trim, and other finish carpentry elements.
  • Install Siding, Windows, and Doors: Install siding, windows, and doors, ensuring a secure and weather-tight seal.
  • Painting and Finishing: Paint the interior and exterior of homes, applying a high-quality finish.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Cooperate with other company employees, adhere to all rules and regulations, and meet or exceed company safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Education and Skills: High school diploma preferred, with basic construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
  • Physical Demands: Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree, with heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Working Conditions:
  • Environmental Factors: Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Must wear protective equipment while at the location.
