Job Purpose:

The Project Coordinator will operate under limited supervision to oversee cross-functional teams on various small to medium-sized IT initiatives, applying the principles and tools of the PMBOK Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Justification: Assist business owners and stakeholders in developing business cases and project charters that leadership will use to assess the value of proposed initiatives.
  • Project Planning: Create project plans, timelines, and budgets for small to medium-sized projects (typically lasting 0-6 months and of simple to moderate complexity). Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, identify necessary resources, and set project milestones.
  • Procurement: Work with fairlife leadership to identify and secure resources for projects. Manage the procurement process for equipment and services, as well as IT operational expenses.
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Automation, Safety, Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance, to ensure effective project execution. The Project Coordinator will coordinate activities, manage resources, and facilitate the resolution of any arising issues or conflicts.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, charters, risk and issue logs, RACI charts, communication plans, and status reports. Track project progress and expenses, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or similar qualifications.
  • 2-3 years of experience in coordinating or managing traditional/waterfall IT projects.
  • Experience with hybrid projects that incorporate both traditional and agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize resources to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to lead and influence project team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing project budgets.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration software (preferred tools: Microsoft Project, MS Planner, MS Teams, MS SharePoint).
