Responsibilities
The Critical Engineering Technician will conduct routine and ongoing assessments of building systems operations and performance, monitor operations, and analyze data to ensure proper functioning of departmental equipment. This includes performing tests, rounds, and analyzing data to ensure the proper functioning of critical systems. The technician will also maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing/piping systems. Additionally, the technician will oversee all work efforts, including third-party contractors, for the safe and compliant operation, maintenance, and modification of critical equipment.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require strong knowledge of safety requirements within the work environment, including OSHA, NEC, and NFPA70E. You will also need to have experience in critical environment operations, maintenance, and/or engineering supporting critical facilities operations. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with 3+ years' experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively determine RCCA in a critical environment are essential.
