Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the provider in delivering medical services, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and updating patient records.
  • Use effective communication skills to discuss medical-related issues and questions with patients and families, and make referrals to other care providers as needed.
  • Participate in patient education, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization processes are followed.
  • Order, prepare, and maintain supplies and equipment for medical procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic testing and proficiency testing on equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Accurately record test results and update patient electronic medical records.
  • Assist support personnel in scheduling tests and procedures.
  • Complete FMLA/WC forms accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or CMA program.
  • Current Illinois license as a registered or licensed practical nurse or CMA.
  • Working knowledge of the nursing process and strong nursing practice skills, including physical assessment skills.
  • Clinical experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
Work Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
