Culinary Expert

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.

1. Cooking and Preparation: Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
2. Workstation Setup: Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
3. Food Preparation: Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
4. Safety and Sanitation: Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives, operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc., and properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Customer Service: Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

1. Experience: Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
2. Knowledge and Skills: Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage.
3. Certification: Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
4. Math and Communication Skills: Demonstrates basic math and counting skills, and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
