Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting travel allied job in Allentown, PA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Lehigh Valley Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a NICU or PICU setting and be certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques to patients in the NICU and PICU
  • Operate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a NICU or PICU setting
