We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and quantity of our meat products, which directly impacts the guest's dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Food Production: Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards, complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance, rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness, and stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.
- Cleanliness: Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and any other meat, recognize and remove bad meat, clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards, and follow local health department laws.
- Operational Excellence: Use administration forms to maintain an inventory of all meat products and determine production levels, notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment, perform opening and closing administrative procedures, properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual, and perform duty roster tasks.
To be successful as a Meat Cutter at Golden Corral, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
CompensationThe compensation for this role is $10-$11 per hour.
