Join Our Team as a Geriatric Psychiatrist
Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare of Mississippi is seeking a 100% remote full-time Psychiatrist to join their Adult, Geriatric and Substance-Abuse Programs. This position offers the unique ability to treat patients in various treatment settings; Inpatient, PHP and Intensive Outpatient.
Treatment Overview
Treatment for adults and geriatric patients who are experiencing an addiction crisis is provided in a structured and therapeutic environment with qualified trained staff. The Adult Detox and Acute Rehab Programs are tailored to the patient's individual needs, enabling them to more effectively cope with their addiction and/or co-occurring emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Our Therapeutic Services
Our therapeutic services provide a warm and nurturing environment for individuals and families in crisis to achieve optimal health. The staff members in our treatment facility treat every individual with dignity and respect. Our goal is to effectively care for all individuals who take part in our inpatient treatment programs. Our program provides crisis management, assessment and treatment services for adults ages 50 and older. The multidisciplinary team provides: specialized treatment that may include medication management; attention to medical issues, which includes daily rounding by a physician; and consultation for physical, occupational and speech therapy as needed and ordered by a physician.

A highly competitive compensation package of salary, sign-on bonus and benefits with bonus opportunities will be offered. Very reasonable caseload and shared call. Full multidisciplinary team setting on each unit with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Assistance.
Position Requirements
Position requirements/duties:
- BC/BE General Psychiatrist with interest/experience treating geriatric and substance-abuse populations. A leadership position is available for the Geriatric Program.
- MS license or ability to obtain.
- Position duties will daily follow-up care of patients, conduct admission assessments and evaluations on new patients and provide treatment team leadership.
