Butte County seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of medical and administrative services in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients in outpatient or clinical settings.
Responsibilities will include:
- Administering general nursing care to patients in a clinic or community setting.
- Interviewing patients, taking thorough patient histories, and reviewing health records.
- Performing physical and mental status exams, ordering laboratory tests, and formulating diagnoses.
- Developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare providers.
- Monitoring patient activities and home or facility environment to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Requirements for this position include:
- A Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Three (3) years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A valid license as a Registered Nurse and certificate as a Nurse Practitioner issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- A valid Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- A valid US driver's license.
