We are in search of a Physical Therapist to become part of our organization. This position entails performing initial assessments and accurately evaluating patient conditions to create suitable objectives and treatment strategies through education, coaching, and discharge planning for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess physical and functional capabilities, along with cognitive, psychological, and perceptual abilities to evaluate the patient's safe functioning.
- Record all evaluations, treatments, and care coordination interactions following facility protocols.
- Exhibit the capability to address a diverse range of diagnoses and possess knowledge of contemporary therapy treatments, objectives, and contraindications.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families regarding treatments, objectives, potential safety concerns, and other relevant issues within the scope of practice.
- Independently manage a personal caseload to enhance the overall effectiveness of the care plan.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements, as well as facility-specific policies and procedures.
- Assist with special projects and other assigned activities that support the mission and core values of TAI.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- Current State Physical Therapist License.
- Current CPR certification.
