Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage acoustical consulting projects and client relationships, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  2. Develop and implement project execution approaches, leveraging your expertise in environmental noise assessment and mitigation.
  3. Lead teams to develop and deliver innovative acoustical design solutions that address complex environmental noise challenges.
  4. Manage technical analyses related to environmental noise surveys, sound level analyses, computer modeling, and mitigation design/specification.
  5. Prepare reports and communicate results to clients, as well as prepare proposals and fee estimates.
  6. Mentor team members and influence the development of individual technical and professional skills.
  7. Critically review and interpret local, state, provincial, and federal environmental regulations.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Mathematics-related field.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in acoustical consulting, specifically environmental noise assessment.
  3. Strong spreadsheet, noise modeling, and software tool skills.
  4. Demonstrated capabilities in understanding and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations.
  5. Proven success in project team leadership in acoustical consulting.
  6. Experience delivering acoustical consultation and design across industry sectors such as manufacturing, technology, energy, water, and transportation.
  7. Working familiarity with applying acoustical-related industry standards such as ISO and ANSI.
  8. Demonstrated experience implementing environmental noise assessments in compliance with NEPA or comparable state or international requirements.
