Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients in a post-acute care setting, working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Colorado
  • One year of experience in a post-acute care setting, preferably in occupational therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed
